
CHI CHIU CHAN (ALAN)
FOUNDER / PRODUCER
Alan is a Hong Kong-raised, New York-based filmmaker with years of producing experience in, but not limited to, student and indie films. He is a multifaceted artist with knowledge of different aspects of filmmaking. As an intern at Manhattan Neighborhood Network, he coordinated with a team to produce, film, and edit critical media/videos that present an in-depth analysis of social justice. Alan also worked as an assistant studio manager, intaking, inspecting, servicing, and managing the storage of all equipment for accurate inventory and quality control standards. On a broadcasting level, he worked with thesilkroadtv, a Chinese TV station based in New York, by providing feedback, filming and editing various videos, and producing programs related to international Chinese student life in NYC.
More recently, Alan expanded his efforts to found Paradox Films, which aims to create works that create visual impact for the audience through open communication and teamwork. The film BASTARDS and SINKING he produced has been officially selected for Buffalo International Film Festival, New York Shorts International Film Festival, and other film festivals.
